Snoize Sysex Librarian

I scanned this section but could not find an existing thread on this, so I decided to post.
For Mac the Snoize SysEx Librarian is recommended in the AxeFx manual. I tried Snoize but it does not receive the full dump from my Axe when going 'Dump Preset to USB'. The data received by Snoize is only 12 bytes when a normal Axe preset file should be at least 6000. 'AXE-FX II MIDI Out' was of course chosen in Snoize.
Now, this could be a USB MIDI issue as well, so in order to find out I used Logic instead of Snoize and recorded the preset SysEx dump from the Axe-Fx into Logic. This worked well, Logic recorded the preset SysEx dump and I 'exported as MIDI file'. The resulting MIDI file had the suffix '.mid' but since it contains MIDI SysEx data only I changed it to '.sys'. When mouse dragging that file into Logic, dropping it on a 'external MIDI' Track set to the Axe MIDI port I was able to press Play in Logic and see the Axe receiving the preset just as expected. I checked the imported patch in the Axe and it was all correct.
From this testing I can only see that there's something fishy with the Soize SysEx Librarian software.
Running Mac 10.7.5. here.

Name: SysEx Librarian /api/cask/sysex-librarian.json (JSON API). Cask code on GitHub. Current version: 1.4.1 Analytics. Feb 06, 2010 utility which lets you communicate with MIDI devices using System Exclusive messages, also known as SysEx. The most common use is to backup patch data from synthesizers, although there are others (such as sending firmware updates). SysEx Librarian makes it easy to keep a library of the SysEx files you use most often, and to record new SysEx files. For Mac the Snoize SysEx Librarian is recommended in the AxeFx manual.
